Zambili Honey

Complex, well-rounded and award-winning

Deep in the heart of Africa lies a vast expanse of land that time has preserved and enriched: The Miombo Forest. Buzzing with life, this wild and vibrant forest is where our honey is created. African honeybees roam far and free to browse on the abundant nectars of their biodiverse habitat, to produce one of the

world’s finest rich, raw and infinitely organic honeys.

The result is a rich, dark, complex and exceptionally well-rounded honey, with subtle notes of dark caramel and spice.

A High Intensity of Health
& Medicinal Properties

Tropical temperatures and vibrant growing conditions in the Miombo Forest result in the trees and plants producing a high intensity of anti-microbial and phytonutrient properties. These health properties are imbued into the nectar of the flowers and transferred directly into the honey.

Our gentle filtration process; La Methode Ancienne- preserves the goodness of the honey which we deliver raw from hive to table.

Five Hundred Years of Tradition

Our honey is harvested from A 500-year-old, sustainable method with natural bark hives in the forest treetops by rural beekeepers. Using an entirely natural smoke, created from fallen forest leaves, honeycomb is sustainably extracted, safely packed and carried on bicycles, motorbikes or trucks to filtration plants.
